Meet the 2023 North Central District FFOY, the McJunkins Family of Dennard (Van Buren County). Adam and Darla McJunkins have been farming for 29 years. They raise feeder calves and grow hay on 92 acres. They have three daughters: Sammy, Lacey Belle and Katie
Meet the 2023 Northeast District FFOY, the Donner Family of Manila (Mississippi County). TheAllen and Debbie Donner have been farming for 43 years. They grow cotton, corn, soybeans and peanuts on 3,100 acres. They have three adult children: Heath, Adam and Katie.
Arkansas Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom partnered with the University of Central Arkansas Dietetic Internship Program to tour Simon Beef Farm and Simon Brothers Dairy in Conway on November 13. The interns were able to see first hand how both operate and where their beef and milk comes from.
